How to loosen up back stiffness in the morning

As the weather gets colder, many of us feel some stiffness creeping back into our joints. This can be most pronounced in our low back- especially when we wake up in the morning.

The first thing is do is get some gentle movement going in your legs while you're still in bed. The second thing to do is march a few times right when you get out of bed. This initial movement will serve to relax muscles that tightened up over night.
